The Directorate of Air Transport's main duty

The duties of the Directorate of Air Transport shall be to prepare the formulation of policies, standardization, norms, guidance, criteria and procedures, licensing, observing, operating, law enforcement/corrective action as well as evaluation and reporting on data system and standardization of air transport service, scheduled air transport service, unscheduled air transport service and non commercial air transport, air transport cooperation and air transport business development and management.

• preparing the materials for the formulation of policies on air transport data system and service standardization, scheduled commercial
  air transport, unscheduled commercial air transport and non commercial air transport, air transport cooperation including development and
  management of air transport company;
• preparing the materials for the formulation of standardization, norms, guidance, criteria, procedures on air transport data system and
  service standardization, scheduled commercial air transport, unscheduled commercial air transport and non commercial air transport, air
  transport cooperation including development and management of air transport business;
• preparing materials for issuing license in the field of air transport service administration;
• performing and formulating agreement script and bilateral cooperation and multilateral and also international institution cooperation on air
  transport field;
• performing bilateral and multilateral air transport agreement also international institution cooperation on air transport field;
• performing the issuance of air transport company cooperation agreement;
• performing coordination with related instances for international air transport service facilities;
• performing meeting in international air transport service facilities;
• performing comments and inputs on Annex 9 amendment of International Civil Aviation regarding Facilitation
• performing working audit of air transport service;
• performing observation and operation on data system and standardization of air transport service, scheduled air transport service,
  unscheduled air transport service and non commercial air transport, air transport cooperation and air transport business development and
  management;
• law enforcement / corrective action on collision of formulation of policies, standardization, norms, guidance, criteria and procedures,
  licensing, observing, operating, law enforcement/corrective action as well as evaluation and reporting on data system and standardization of
  air transport service, scheduled air transport service, unscheduled air transport service and non commercial air transport, air transport
  cooperation and air transport business development and management;
• implementing evaluation and report in data system and standardization of air transport service, scheduled air transport service,
  unscheduled air transport service and non commercial air transport, air transport cooperation and air transport business development
  and management;
• carrying out administration, personnel and housekeeping affairs of the directorate.

The Directorate of Air Transport shall consist of:

a. Sub-Directorate of Air Transport Service Data System and Standardization;

b. Sub-Directorate of Scheduled Commercial Air Transport;

c. Sub-Directorate of Unscheduled Commercial Air Transport and Non Commercial;

d. Sub-Directorate of Air Transport Cooperation;

e. Sub-Directorate of Air Transport Development and Management;

f. Sub-Division of Administration
